Customer Story: Advanced Bikes

German e-bike manufacturer Advanced places high demands on the quality of its bikes - and on its logistics provider. The high-quality bike components must be reliably available, seasonal peaks must not be a problem, and the supply chain must be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Since 2022, Gebrüder Weiss has been ensuring that Advanced's logistics processes run according to plan. A customized solution was developed that efficiently combines different modes of transportation. Customer Story: CaGo

CaGo produces innovative e-cargo bikes and places great value on safety - also in logistics. Since 2023, Gebrüder Weiss has been responsible for the damage-free transport of various bicycle components from CaGo/Koblenz to Turkey, where the cargo bikes are built, as well as the import of the finished bikes to Germany. Gebrüder Weiss handles both by truck, with a convenient door-to-door solution. With its expertise in packaging and handling, its own branches in Turkey and transparent communication, Gebrüder Weiss ensures safe and smooth logistics processes. Another advantage: CaGo can also utilize Gebrüder Weiss' extensive air and sea freight services, especially for destinations in China, Taiwan and Australia.

Customer Story: Merida/Centurion

Merida & Centurion Germany GmbH is the German representative of the world-famous Taiwanese bicycle manufacturer Merida. In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the company was looking for an additional logistics partner for sea freight imports from Taiwan in order to expand its freight capacity. The basic requirement: first-class service quality and customer-oriented solutions. This is where Gebrüder Weiss came into play: since 2023, the logistics experts from the company's own branches in Taiwan and Germany have been working closely together to ensure the reliable sea transport of around 400 containers per year. The international Gebrüder Weiss team impresses with smooth coordination as well as fast and flexible solutions when market conditions in the bicycle industry change.

Customer story: Merida/Centurion

Merida & Centurion Germany GmbH distributes various brands of bicycle equipment and accessories in Germany, as well as the international bicycle brands Merida and Centurion. In the course of the pandemic, the company wanted to reduce its dependence on its previous partner and was therefore looking for a second, more service-oriented sea freight partner for imports from Taiwan.

The orange experts in Taiwan and Germany have been working closely together since 2023 to ensure the safe sea transport of around 500 containers per year. The experienced team impresses with smooth coordination processes and quick adaptation to market conditions
